The NBC Hood is a piece of headwear gear in DayZ. Choosing the right equipment is vital to survive the harsh weather of Chernarus or Livonia, as well as having enough storage slots to carry all your loot (ammo, food, medicine).

Unlike other clothes, the NBC Hood does not provide additional storage capacity. Furthermore, its thermal insulation level is classified as Low. A good insulation level is crucial to prevent diseases such as influenza or hypothermia when it rains or during the night.
