How does Morse code & bunker prediction work in DayZ?
Every night on Nasdara (Badlands), radios broadcast 10 decimal numbers (5 Morse symbols each = 50 symbols total). The first 6 digits determine the bunker location. Because each bunker in Nasdara has a unique 3-digit prefix (e.g. typing 072 uniquely predicts Bunker #1), you only need the first 3 digits to identify the exact bunker and open the interactive map! The last 4 digits form the keypad PIN code to open the bunker door.

How does the bunker predictor work with just 3 digits?
In DayZ Nasdara, all 23 bunker codes start with unique 3-digit sequences (for instance, 072 exclusively belongs to Bunker #1: 072107). As soon as you enter the first 3 digits from the radio broadcast, the tool identifies the exact bunker, map coordinates, and GPS location without having to wait for the whole transmission.
Can I view the bunker location directly on the interactive map?
Yes! As soon as the bunker is identified or predicted, click the "View exact bunker location on map" button or tap directly on the coordinates to view the Nasdara satellite map centered on that exact bunker location.
What is the full structure of the 10-digit radio transmission?
The transmission consists of 10 digits (50 Morse symbols). Digits 1 to 6 determine the bunker location and GPS coordinates. Digits 7 to 10 are the 4-digit PIN code for the electronic keypad on the bunker entrance door.
Can I decode just the 4-digit PIN if I already know which bunker is open?
Yes! If you already know which bunker you want to enter, you only need to listen to the final 4 digits (the last 20 Morse tones) to extract the keypad PIN code.
What happens if I type the wrong PIN at a bunker keypad?
Entering an incorrect PIN triggers a 30-second security cooldown on the keypad before you can make another attempt. Having the decoded PIN ready prevents getting ambushed outside.
