DayZ Sakhal Interactive Map (Frostline DLC)

Subarctic volcanic archipelago covered in perpetual snow, frozen coastal ice, and jagged mountain fjords.

Continuous freezing temperatures. The cold depletes your calorie reserves and health rapidly without insulation.

Thermal hot springs and volcanic vents providing natural heat zones to warm up without building fires.

Canned foods spawn frozen and must be thawed. Ice fishing and hunting adapted arctic wildlife are critical.

Thaw Frozen Food First

Eating frozen canned food directly drastically lowers core temperature, causing hypothermia damage. Always thaw food near a fire first.

Prioritize Heavy Insulation

Equip Ushanka hats, heavy parkas, ski gloves, and insulated boots immediately. Pure camouflage is secondary to thermal survival in Sakhal.

Use Geothermal Zones on the Map

Identify volcanic hot springs on the interactive map to schedule safe warming stops while crossing icy mountain passes.
